Wow, Bill Berg, Tom Massey, and Hal Ambro doing the money shot with Louns! Freddie Moore did Mickey here, as expected.
ReplyDeleteYou have a pretty nice collection of animators draft sheets on your blog! Have fun posting the animators draft sheets of "Make Mine Music"! I'd love to see the animators draft sheets on the "All the Cats Join In" and "Martins and the Coys" segments!
ReplyDeleteI expect Hal Ambro drew the trio with the flyswatter in the foreground and John Lounsbery drew the Giant as a "Pink Bunny".
ReplyDeleteThe animation of Mickey trying to convince Willie to turn into a fly is recognizably Fred Moore - quite similar to his work on Timothy in "Dumbo". That whole first half of this sequence is animated between Moore and John Lounsbery - not *completely* cast by character, as Moore gets a few close-ups of Willie as well.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see Bill Berg as an animator.
